Who we are

A family-owned studio with a design bureau in Niš

Fluoelektro was founded in 2005 with a vision to light up the world. We began as a trading company and in 2014 opened our lighting design bureau in Niš, Serbia, dedicated to lighting design and precise photometric engineering in DIALux.

Our team consists of DIALux-licensed lighting designers. Partners across Europe and beyond rely on our commitment to quality — from the first concept to the final on-site evaluation.

For electrical engineers

Photometry is an integral part of every electrical installation project. Outsource it to us.

Working on an electrical design and the lighting calculation is slowing you down? Send us the floor plan — we return a complete DIALux report ready to drop into your project documentation.

  • DIALux report with illuminance, uniformity and UGR verification per room, compliant with EN 12464-1
  • Emergency lighting — escape route and anti-panic calculations to EN 1838
  • Equipment specification with luminaire types, wattages and layout — ready for your bill of quantities
  • Fast turnaround — we work in parallel with your design development, with revisions as needed

Emergency lighting

Anti-panic and escape route lighting to EN 1838

We design emergency lighting for escape routes, anti-panic areas and high-risk task zones — with DIALux compliance proof for building approval. An example from our work (IRIN building, Niš):

1.20 lxE min — middle area (≥ 0.50 lx)
1.23 lxE min — centerline (≥ 1.00 lx)
0.15diversity U d (≥ 0.025)

All escape-route parameters passed — verified by DIALux calculation (emergency light scene).

Indicative estimate by the lumen (utilisation factor) method — maintenance factor and reflectances selectable. UGR, U₀ and Ra are normative EN 12464-1 requirements and can only be verified by a DIALux calculation with the real luminaire photometry. An official report requires DIALux.

Our process

Six steps from brief to light

Every project follows the same proven methodology — which is why results are predictable, standards-compliant and true to the visualisation.

01

Project goal

We define what the lighting must achieve: functionality, atmosphere or accentuating architectural features.

02

Space analysis

Dimensions, finishes, daylight, patterns of use and technical constraints — power supply routes and mounting options.

03

Luminaire selection

LED solutions chosen for functional and aesthetic requirements: direct or indirect lighting, style and efficiency.

04

Technical planning

Calculation of luminaire quantities and layout in DIALux to reach target lux levels, including cable routing and switching.

05

Visualisation & simulation

Photorealistic simulations show how light behaves in the space under different conditions — before anything is installed.

06

Implementation & evaluation

Installation to plan, fine-tuning, and a final evaluation confirming every technical and aesthetic goal has been met.

FAQ

Everything you need to know before we start

Do you work with our own fixtures and suppliers?
Yes. For international projects we provide independent, vendor-neutral lighting design — we calculate with the luminaires you choose, from any manufacturer. You get an objective DIALux study, not a sales pitch.
How much does it cost?
Transparent pricing: roughly €20–30 per hour, or a fixed package — from €120 for a single space to €950+ for a complete project. Send us your drawings and you get a binding quotation within 48 hours.
What do I receive?
A DIALux photometric calculation to EN 12464-1 and a PDF report with layout and results. Larger packages add a luminaire specification for tendering, emergency lighting design to EN 1838, light scenes and photorealistic renders.
Which standards do you work to?
European norms — EN 12464-1 for indoor workplaces and EN 1838 for emergency and escape-route lighting. Deliverables are prepared so they pass tender review and approval.
How fast can you deliver?
A binding quotation within 48 hours of receiving your drawings; the delivery timeline is confirmed per project scope and complexity.
Which file formats do you deliver?
PDF reports, DWG with the luminaires placed in the drawing, and photometric files (LDT/IES) on request.
